Through September 30th, 2021, the MCPHS Fellowship Network (MFN) and MCPHS’s Phi Lambda Sigma chapter have detailed how to host individual food drives, providing you with the resources and tools you’ll need. Spread the word to your local network, collect donations, and bring the items you’ve gathered to a local food pantry in need.
Please donate non-perishable food items and items with long expiration dates. Commonly requested items include:
Peanut butter | Boxed mac and cheese |
Chicken broth | Pasta sauce |
Canned tuna or chicken | Pasta, rice, and quinoa |
Canned fruit in light syrup | Baby food and formula |
Juice boxes (no added sugar) | Shelf-stable milk (rice, almond, soy) |
Canned vegetables | Spices |
Canned soup, stews, and chili | Cereal, oatmeal, and granola |
Beans (canned or dried) | Cooking oils |
Due to the constant changes in COVID-19 restrictions, prior to dropping off items, confirm that the food bank you selected is still taking donations and confirm their drop-off time windows.
